Thousands of people across Teesside are trapped on housing waiting lists. People are stuck for years in homelessness, poor housing conditions, and temporary accommodation.

The only way to solve Teesside’s housing crisis is through the rapid building of council housing, and taking long-term empty homes into public ownership to use as council housing today. That will only happen if we as tenants and housing campaigners demand it and fight for it.
